Since the summer of 2025, Hugo has been working as a Business Analyst in CatalystOne’s Business & Strategy Development team, supporting strategic and cross-functional projects across the entire organisation.

But his journey with CatalystOne began long before that — as a summer intern in 2023.

🚀 A Dynamic Role at the Heart of the Organization

No two days look the same for Hugo.

“My role is very agile and dynamic. One day I support the Executive Management Team in the strategy process, and the next I’m working directly with Sales and Marketing on customer data analysis or brand development.”

That cross-functional variety is a major part of what makes the role so exciting.

After starting as an intern and continuing to contribute to projects alongside his studies, Hugo knew CatalystOne was a good fit.

“I really enjoyed both the projects and the working environment. When I completed my degree, I felt CatalystOne was the perfect place to continue developing professionally.”

He highlights the unique mix of trust, responsibility, and learning opportunities as key to his decision to stay.

“It’s a very open and welcoming environment where I’ve been able to take part in important discussions and contribute my perspective. Having that level of trust early in my career has been invaluable for my growth.”

“One of my proudest moments was when our former CEO and Founder of CatalystOne Engage, Johannes Midtbö, presented at a major HR tech conference using a research report I had written.”

Seeing his work influence thought leadership at that level was a huge motivator and a clear sign that his contributions matter.

For those considering a similar path, Hugo says curiosity and adaptability are key.

“You’ll find yourself in a role with a lot of variety and opportunities to work across departments. If you’re eager to learn and contribute, this is a great environment to grow your skills.”

🏔️ Life Outside the Office

When he’s not analyzing data or helping drive strategic initiatives, you’ll likely find Hugo staying active.

“I enjoy all kinds of physical activities: running, skiing, hiking, and team sports. I also love traveling and exploring new places, especially up in the mountains.”
