The Group Finance team at CatalystOne is evolving and expanding. Currently, our team consists of the CFO, Head of Group Accounting, Senior Business Controller, and Contract Manager. Our accounting operations are managed in-house in Norway through our Accountant Manager, while they are outsourced in Sweden and Denmark. Salary management is outsourced across all three countries. 

As a Senior Group Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our finance organization, routines, and processes. We have made significant strides but we are always looking for ways to innovate and improve. This role requires someone who can balance strategic vision with operational excellence, working independently yet collaboratively across departments. You will report directly to the CFO.

What you'll do as Senior Group Controller

• Reporting: Deliver insights and reports to the Executive Management Team and the Board. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including consolidated financial statements, management reports, and statutory reporting. 
• Financial Planning: Budgeting, forecasting, and business modeling initiatives.
• Mergers & Acquisitions: M&A activities and integration of new companies as we continue our growth journey.
• Cash Management: Cash management and handle currency risk effectively.
• Process Improvement: Take part in improving internal control routines and processes.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Take on various projects as needed to support the company and finance team’s objectives.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or similar.
• Experience: 3-5 years in auditing or due diligence in addition to 2-3 years as a financial controller, business controller, FP&A analyst, or similar. Experience from SaaS companies would be advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP and consolidation tools ++
• Language Skills: Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
